The Whittakers
Tyron and Rachael are honored to be the lead pastors of Heart Church. They’ve been married 9 years and have four adorable children, Jett (8), Ruby (6), Noelle (4), and Sage (1). Their family has a very fun and joyful perspective on life! Wait until you hear Tyron's laugh!
Rachael grew up in Cincinnati and met the studly man of her dreams, Tyron, in Cape Town, South Africa. Tyron grew up in Cape Town and met his dream girl, Rachael, at worship practice one night. They fell in love and the rest is history. They were the youth pastors at Hillsong Church South Africa for 13 incredible years. Under the leadership of their all time legendary pastors Phil and Lucinda Dooley, they were able to build one of South Africa’s largest youth ministries with their dream team.
In December of 2020 they said goodbye to dear friends and family, packed up eleven suitcases, and stepped out in faith in their big move back to the USA. They both strongly felt the Holy Spirit leading them to build a church in Cincinnati, Ohio. They are so expectant for all that God is going to do through the launch of Heart Church, and are believing for a fresh move of God across the Midwest! Together, they are excited to build a significant house of God; a church that will reach people for Jesus and bring hope and healing to many.
